23년간 한국보건산업진흥원에서 보건의료 및 바이오 분야 국가연구개발사업 기획/평가/관리, 산업정책연구 및 사업 개발, 기술이전을 담당하면서, 연구중심병원, 첨단의료복합단지, 국가전략프로젝트, 국가신약개발사업, 혁신형 제약기업 등 주요 국가 정책을 연구하고 관련 사업을 개발했다. 현재, 한국보건산업진흥원 연구개발혁신본부장으로 재직중으로, 과학기술자문회의, 기획재정부, 과기정통부, 보건복지부, 질병관리청, 식약처, 중소벤처기업부 등 정부부처, 한국연구개발원, 과학기술정책연구원, 한국과학기술기획평가원 등 정부 씽크탱크, 대한의학한림원, 산업기술진흥협회, 전국경제인연합회 등 비영리단체를 대상으로 자문과 심의를 해왔다.

For 23 years at Korea Health Industry Development Institute(KHIDI), he has been in charge of industrial policy research, technology transfer, and management of national R&D projects in the healthcare and bio sectors, researching major national policies and developing related projects such as Research-driven hospitals, High-tech medical complexes, National strategic project, Korea drug development fund, and Innovative pharmaceutical companies. Currently, he is the director general of the Bureau of R&D and Innovation at KHIDI and has advised and deliberated with government departments such as MOEF, MSIT, MOHW, KCDC, MFDS, MSS, and PACST, government-affiliated think tanks such as the KDI, STEPI, and KISTEP, and non-profit organizations such as KOITA, FKI, and NAMOK.
